Calculator data

Calculation history, Ans, memory variables, data lists and formulas, table settings, modes and random-generator state are stored in this browser’s localStorage under openstudy-v1. Calculator code does not transmit these values to a server. Reset clears calculator state; clearing browser site data removes its stored records. Uncommitted drafts are not preserved across refresh. Shared-browser users can see stored calculator data.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Google Analytics 4 is enabled only after explicit Statistics consent through Cookiebot. Google AdSense remains disabled. An Analytics measurement ID and the Cookiebot consent manager are configured. No Google Analytics tag loads before the required consent. No publisher ID is configured, and inactive advertising regions are hidden. Cookiebot loads to offer consent choices and can store a consent record in cookies; it processes browser/network information to provide its service. Use Privacy choices to review or change your choices. The operator must confirm actual CMP account settings, consent retention and applicable regional disclosures. This configuration does not load nonessential Google tags or set tracking cookies.

After the required consent, Google Analytics uses the Google tag to process page-level usage and browser/device information and may use cookies. Website pageview parameters use fixed page titles and omit URL queries, fragments and referrer details. Calculator inputs, expressions, history, saved values and list data are not read or included in analytics events. Enhanced Measurement, Google Signals and user-provided data collection must remain disabled in the Google Analytics account.

Future AdSense advertising may use cookies and process device, network and advertising information through Google and its advertising partners. Tags remain blocked until configured consent conditions are met. Cookiebot provides the consent interface and persistence. Its advertising/TCF account settings still require review before AdSense activation. Privacy choices reopens the consent interface. Withdrawal disables further site analytics; already-loaded advertising code may require a page reload to stop completely. Preserve unfinished entries before reloading.

Google services have their own privacy policy. The operator must confirm actual analytics retention, consent provider, advertising partners and applicable disclosures, and update this policy before activating either service. No current advertising approval is claimed.

Hosting and external links

Your browser requests files from the hosting provider, which may process IP addresses, browser details and request logs. The provider and retention policy have not yet been specified by the operator. This policy does not claim that hosting produces no logs. External educational links have their own privacy practices.
